Our material of choice is 18-gauge cold roll steel, allowing us to provide a polished, silver reflective surface. To preserve its shine, a protective sealant is recommended. Alternatively, embrace the beauty of a Rusted Patina finish by exposing it to vinegar water. Care instructions will soon be available on our YouTube page.

- Please know that Raw Steel signs can also be purchased with a Clear Powder Coated Finish. This will provide protection from Rusting but still allow your item to look like steel.
- Raw Steel sign WILL weather and rust naturally and provide a unique rusted patina finish if left to the elements, it is advised to coat with either a clear coat or paint yourself to be avoided unless rusting is your intention.
- Please note Raw Metal signs will not only show imperfections from processing at the mill but also as marks from our cutting process. In addition, the raw colors can vary in range from darker to lighter silver, and each batch of steel varies.
